******PRESS RELEASE******DATE: June 19, 2007By: Detective Ben Trabka Three Arrested for Stolen Tools Shelton Police arrested three Southbury residents on Friday for possessing over $11,000.00 worth of stolen power tools. Detectives were advised that the three were attempting to sell tools at a local pawn shop. Detectives were aware that one of the three was a suspect in area tool thefts. Detectives responded to the pawn shop and found the three placing the tools into their vehicle. The two males gave fake names to police. Officers subsequently identified the two males and determined that the tools in possession of all three were stolen from a contractor in Southbury. Arrested were the following, 24 year old Brian Fluman of 20 Greenwich Drive, Southbury, 20 year old Vanessa Micciche of 55 Jacob Road, Southbury and 26 year old Jason Esposito of 55 Jacob Road, Southbury. Fluman was charged with Interfering with a Police Officer and Possession of Marijuana and held on a $500.00 bond. Esposito was charged with Larceny 1st Degree and Interfering with a Police Officer and held on a $10,000.00 bond. Both Fluman and Esposito were unable to post their bonds and were arraigned in Derby Superior Court on 6-18-2007. Micciche was arrested on the charges of Larceny 1st Degree, Interfering with a Police Officer and Possession of Heroin. Micciche posted a $10,000.00 bond with a court date of 07-02-2007. Police in Shelton and Southbury are continuing their investigation and additional arrests are expected.
