Pedestrian struck by M/V
On April 23rd, 2007 at approximately 4:45pm a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Coram Avenue and Center Street. The driver of the vehicle, Mark Uberti age 18 was making a left hand turn from Coram Avenue onto Center Street when he struck pedestrian; Charles Ottmer, age 53 who was walking across Center Street.
Charles Ottmer was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital with non life threatening injuries. The accident is currently under investigation by the Shelton Police Accident Reconstruction Division.
Mark Uberti was driving a 2006 Chevy Hummer.
